Fellowships and Internships

APHL offers two early career opportunities for students and recent graduates:

Fellowshps 

Fellowships support a wide spectrum of public health laboratory program areas with one year placement at a host laboratory. 

Internships

Interns assist scientist working on meaningful projects while building general lab practices, data analysis, report management, problem solving, teamwork and effective communication skills.

Training Resources

CDC TRAIN is a gateway into the TRAIN Learning Network,​ the most comprehensive catalog of public health training opportunities. TRAIN is a free service for learners from the Public Health Foundation.​​

This is a consortium of regional Public Health Training Centers​ that collectively represent the nation’s most comprehensive resource for public health workforce development.
