APHL Global Health Consultants tell us they appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with innovative leaders and to train motivated laboratorians in new knowledge and skills. They bring home ideas and practices from laboratorians working with limited resources as part of a larger global system, which are the skills needed to operate effectively in under-funded public health systems.
But the rewards of working with us go beyond the practical. Individuals can see the effects of their work first-hand. They connect with the ultimate mission of public health laboratories—helping to save lives.

Please keep in mind that, while we would like to involve as many of those interested as possible, opportunities are limited and arise based on country needs and funding availability.
Express your interest in global health consulting
The types of projects and technical needs vary significantly and may include areas such as laboratory strategic and operational planning, technical support in areas such as quality management systems, informatics or next-generation sequencing, laboratory assessments, leadership and management training, wastewater surveillance or other technical support. Country support may or may not require travel, but if travel is involved, the duration is usually between one and two weeks.
