2026 APHL Annual Conference -- Day 1

The 2026 APHL Annual Conference kicked off today in Baltimore, MD! During the welcome session, attendees were surprised with a rousing performance from the Broadway musical, Hairspray! As they sang "Good morning, Baltimore / Every day's like an open door!" we felt the excitement for the next few days of the conference. We brought the focus back to public health with the Dr. Katherine Kelley Distinguished Lecture delivered by Joshua Sharfstein, MD, vice dean for public health practice and community engagement, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
